Farmers Market Fresh!

Farmers Market Fresh!

Nothing beats the delicious beauty of summertime produce. From asparagus and radishes to rhubarb and raspberries, we are fortunate to have access to a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and fungi to feast on as the season shifts in the Pacific Northwest.  We have our farmers to thank for delivering the bounty of British Columbia to our city, providing access to local, seasonal, and fresh food.

The farmers market is a place of community. A place to share food, recipes, and stories. It is a place for people of all ages to celebrate and express gratitude for the abundance of nourishing food that is available. Farmers markets are paving the way for a more sustainable, transparent food system centred around the health of the environment, farmer, and consumer. Visit one of the many markets in the city and get to know your farmers and your food!
