Rose Water // How to use it

From skincare to detoxification, we are in love with rose water, and are so excited to now be carrying a drinkable, organic version at our store and kiosk locations. The use of rose water can be traced back to ancient times, where it was used both medicinally and as a fragrance.

We always recommend using steam-distilled rose water, rather than a mixture of rose oil and distilled water, to ensure you are receiving the health benefits of this beautiful creation. Below are a few ways in which you can incorporate this beautiful product into your daily routine.

As a Toner

After cleansing your face, apply the rose water to your face using your freshly washed hands or a piece of cloth soaked in the rose water. This process will not only help with excess oil production, but will also restore a healthy skin pH for glowing and firm skin.

Repairing Damaged Hair

The easiest way we have found to use rose water for your hair is to mix equal parts shampoo and rose water, and wash hair as normal with this mixture. This process will moisturize strands, increase natural shine, and provide sun protection, all things we need during these cold yet sunny days.

Stress Relief

After a busy day at work, there is nothing more peaceful than the fragrance of rose throughout your home. Add to your diffuser to balance your energy levels and to calm yourself.

Detoxification

Consuming one ounce of rose water diluted in one ounce of water is beneficial for your digestive system, liver, energy levels, and mood. We recommend taking this mixture once per day, preferably in the morning, to set you up for success. As a side benefit, it also freshens your breath at the same time.

Come by our store or kiosk to try a single shot of Bulgarian Rose Water for yourself, and to learn even more ways to use this beautiful product.

Stay Nourished,
